The poster series and trading card set honors past and future Lakers legends. The posters depict the team’s most prominent figures such as Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. As well as paying homage to past Lakers icons, accompanying trading cards were created to commemorate the team’s most recent 2019-2020 title run. Reminiscent to what you might find on the back of a cereal box back in the day, the aforementioned trading card set was subsequently named the “Cereal Box Series”.
