The Last of Us is an action-adventure video game. Set in the post-apocalyptic United States, the game follows Joel and Ellie as they work together to survive their journey across the United States to find a possible cure for the modern fungal plague that has nearly decimated the entire population. The fictional movie poster depicts imagery seen within the game such as an infected individual; as well as the logo and tagline used by the Fireflies, a rebel militia group leading the charge for a cure. The Russian Avant-Garde aesthetic lends itself in the movie poster to enhance the suspenseful action felt throughout the game’s campaign.
